What is the Predictive Index and what is the behavioral assessment?
At Virtual Latinos, we are committed to helping our VAs with their professional development by matching them with the role best suited for them.
For that reason, we are thrilled to announce that we have decided to partner with The Predictive Index (PI)—an organization that is equally committed to improving the working lives of people.
The PI platform will help us to match the best applicants to a job by ensuring each candidate is the right fit for a role.
In order to make this matching system work, we need our VAs to take the PI Behavioral Assessment.
What is the Behavioral Assessment?
The Predictive Index’s Behavioral Assessment is an untimed, multiple choice assessment that will help us understand our applicant’s personality traits in a professional environment.
This assessment measures four key drives, which provide a simple framework for understanding your employees’ and candidates’ workplace behaviors:
- Dominance: the drive to exert influence on people or events.
- Extraversion: the drive for social interaction with other people.
- Patience: the drive to have consistency and stability.
- Formality: the drive to conform to rules and structure.
What is the Cognitive Assessment?
The Predictive Index Cognitive Assessment is a 12-minute assessment of an individual’s general cognitive ability. The PI Cognitive Assessment was built and validated exclusively for use in the workplace and it provides insight into a person’s capacity to learn, adapt, and grasp new concepts.
Please note that the results of the Cognitive Assessment are confidential and cannot be disclosed at any time, the Predictive Index does not release individuals’ responses to the assessment’s questions.
