Part-time VA for Property Management Real Estate Company

Dear Virtual Latinos,

We’re looking to hire 1 VA in the next 7 days through this job that the Virtual Latinos Agency is publishing on behalf of an existing client of ours.

Client & Short Job Description:
The client has a real estate and property management company in Southern California. The company is looking for a VA who can help with a variety of administrative tasks related to managing properties, tenants, vendors/contractors (those who fix the houses/apartments), as well as other tasks.

The client is ideally looking for VAs who have worked at a real estate or property management job in the past, but it’s NOT a requirement. If you’ve never worked on this industry, but want to learn, training will be provided.

DEADLINE TO APPLY: You must apply by Thursday, Oct 10th. Our team will set up interviews for the selected candidates for Oct 11, 2019.

Tasks required for the job
1. Property Management Admin Support
– Scheduling calls & scheduling visits with new potential tenants
– Follow-up calls with agents who showed the properties/apartment, see if they’re interested
– Update the marketing report in Google Docs with info about property and agent’s visits
– Use the client’s LionDesk CRM to manage contacts and properties.
— Leads management (filter and sort leads of potential new tenants)
– Answer basic questions about a property for rent.

2. Tenants Support
– List renewals follow-up with tenants
– Manage incoming maintenance request (non-emergency), that come from an online system
– Use PropertyWare to add invoices to the accounting system (Accounts payable entering)

3. Other General Admin work
This may include a variety of tasks, for your proposal as a VA, list all the things you could help with that are general admin tasks

 

Ideal qualifications:
● Familiar with property management and/or real estate terms
● Customize and create leasing agreements and/or lease extensions
● Documents & contracts management: Property management agreements and addendums
● MOST IMPORTANT: Have integrity, and the right ethics, own it if you make a mistake. Be committed to do the right thing and be honest and transparent.
● Accent or no accent is NOT important
● Grammar and written English is VERY important
● Computer savvy, able to use the Internet for general online research
● Someone who is NOT afraid to say “I don’t know how to do X”, someone who can be honest and knows how to ask for help, and willing to ask.
● The client is looking process improvement minded, who is able to suggest better ways to do things, and improve the client’s work and processes

 

Work Details:
-Schedule: Monday – Friday
-Communication: Various methods
-Pay offered: $6-8 USD/hr (Will depend on your experience)
-Hours required: 10-20 per week.
