We’re looking to hire 1 VA through this job that the Virtual Latinos Agency is publishing on behalf of a new client.

Client & Short Job Description:

Digital Marketing Agency based in Los Angeles with offices in NYC that have been in business for 3 years in the industry. The company specializes in branding, strategy, web development, design, PPC managing, SEO, influencer marketing (only based on demand), and social media management. The company is providing digital marketing services that serve as solutions to elevate their client’s brands and generate sales. The company currently consists of a team of 8 people including the CEO. The person with whom the VA will be working closely is the brand & communication manager.

The company has 20 Tiktok accounts and is divided as such: 5 motivational, 5 business, 5 marketing, and 5 fun TikTok accounts. Initially, the VA will be handling just a couple of accounts and gradually growing to handle more. Its mission is to generate more followers and maintain them active. The VA will be required to do a lot of research to find reliable content/videos for each type of account that they will be handling and then edit to content that is found to repost it in the right accounts. The VA will be scouring the web to find existing content to make reuse of it.

Tasks required for the job

1. Basic Social Media Management
– Manage multiple Tiktok Accounts
– Monitor organic posting and curate 3rd party content
– Help with Social Media content organization, scheduling & management
– Publish posts on Tiktok
– Basic content writing and also create simple graphics
– Create a social media calendar to post X times a week
– Monitor & respond to messages/inbox on Tiktok
– Create monthly reports for social media activity and engagement and provide insights and recommendations on how to improve things
– Create a social media calendar to post X times a week

2. General Research
– Research what other companies are doing to learn from them
– Perform general market research
– The VA will be scouring the web to find existing content to make reuse of it.
– The VA will be required to do a lot of research to find reliable content/videos for each type of account that he/she will be handling and then edit to content that is found to repost it in the right accounts.

3. Content Creation & Copywriting
– Create basic content for social media posts.
– Create short blog posts (under 500 words) – Does not include professional copywriting
– Create basic content for web pages or landing pages
– Help with the creation of FAQs and help desk content

4. Basic Graphic Design
– Create simple graphics for social media.
– Create or edit simple graphics for email campaigns
– Create simple banners, gifs, or videos in Canva
– Other basic graphic designs, this only includes simple web-based design not professional design in Photoshop or Illustrator

Ideal Requirements

A) Communication & Language
Excellent written English and Spanish skills. Must be able to draft and send emails and messages to clients.; Excellent verbal English and Spanish skills. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively. The VA should have total fluency and not have to think of what to say, words should come out very naturally but no need to have a native accent in addition to advanced writing skills and vocabulary.; Have great “emotional intelligence”, who can understand each customer’s situation.

B) Creativity & Proactiveness
Self-starter, proactive and innovative.; Should be “coachable”, willing to learn new skills, and can follow directions.; Someone who can work independently, resourceful to find things on their own.; Not afraid to ask questions, know when to ask for help when needed.; Take ownership, have a great attitude to get things done.

C) People & Relationship
Easy to speak with and a good listener.; Supportive, and always be willing to help.; Must be able to separate “Business from emotions” as clients can get very passionate, and it’s important for the VA to remember that in the end, it’s just work.

D) Work Load & Stress Management
Project management experience, good at setting timelines, deadlines and fulfilling expectations.; Able to manage stressful situations without affecting them on a personal level.; Able to get things done, and have a positive attitude to do things.; Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented.; Should be smart and a great problem-solver.

E) Technology & Software
Must have experience with documents management on Google Drive/ Dropbox.; Google Sheets’s experience and understanding.; Have a graphic design background. Able to create graphics, or use Canva/templates.

Work Details:

– Schedule: Monday – Friday: 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm PST (Flexible once hired)
– Hours: 10 hours/week
