We’re looking to hire 1 VA through this job that the Virtual Latinos Agency is publishing on behalf of one of our clients.
Client & Short Job Description:
The company has 3 different divisions, including Consulting (Focused on Marketing services for various business), Software (Mobile app for counties and municipalities – a communication tool between the government and the citizens), and Real Estate Investment (They invest in properties they own and manage in AirB&B – that’s their side hustle).
They currently work with several VAs in India, Bangladesh, and Canada, but looking to expand with VAs from VL. Yet, they don’t like the timezone difference, so they’re looking for VAs in their timezone.
The client is looking for a VA who is a professional designer who uses Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, so the current designer/owner does not need to do the design work and has the VA designer work with them in the long-term job. See more “Ideal Requirements” below.

Tasks required for the job
1. Professional Graphic Design
– Looking for an expert in Adobe Illustrator
– The company’s customers do sometimes have their brand guidelines and standards, but not all of them have them. Yet, in most cases, the customers do provide the brand standards
– The designer will need to learn to adapt a company’s clients’ brand into all of their designs for each of the company’s clients
– If needed, the company will help the designer get onboarding into understanding the client’s design standards. Even if it’s a 1-page branding style guide
– On an ongoing basis, the designer will continue to create designs – which will eventually help improve, or create/build the client’s actually branding guide.
– The VA will eventually then actually build branding guides for the company’s clients. From 1 page, into a 12-16 page document.
– Strong Adobe InDesign and Photoshop Skills also required as the VA will be asked to help build big 300-page catalogs for the company’s clients.
– The company also helps their clients with lots of virtual tradeshows, so the VA designer will also need to design lots of banners, posters, and designs for the virtual tradeshow.
Secondary Task (Ideal, not required)
2. Basic Content Creation & Copywriting
– Looking for someone who is VERY detailed oriented, and able to have basic proficiency in grammar and punctuation.
– Excellent English skills, in order to create great Copywriting. Doesn’t need to be a professional writer, but ideal if they are.
– Strong Grammar and Punctuation also ideal.

Ideal Requirements
A) Communication & Language
– Excellent written English and Spanish skills. Must be able to draft and send emails and messages to clients.;
– Excellent verbal English and Spanish skills. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively;
-Must be ok with speaking on the phone for long periods and be pleasant on the phone.; Have great “emotional intelligence”, who can understand each customer’s situation.; Super empathetic, energetic, and understand the client’s need.
B) Creativity & Proactiveness
– Someone who can work independently, resourceful to find things on their own.; Quick learner, willing to learn new things, and able to pick up issues/problems fast.; Take ownership, have a great attitude to get things done.; Must know how to propose solutions to problems and be super helpful.; A creative person, and creative thinker, to be able to solve problems.
C) People & Relationship
– Easy to speak with and a good listener.; Supportive, and always be willing to help.; Must be able to separate “Business from emotions” as clients can get very passionate, and it’s important for the VA to remember that in the end, it’s just work.; Someone that is open to feedback without being offended, willing to make mistakes, and be ok when the company tells them how to improve.; Must be able to have the great judgment of situations, to decide how/when to act accordingly.
D) Work Load & Stress Management
– Project management experience, good at setting timelines, deadlines, and fulfilling expectations.; Able to get things done, and have a positive attitude to do things.; Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented.; Should be very hard-working, comfortable with having a lot to do all the time.; Great multi-tasker, able to prioritize, and have great time management skills.
E) Technology & Software
– Should have experience with Microsoft Excel and the overall Microsoft Office.;
– Have a graphic design background.
– Able to create graphics, or use Canva/templates.;
– Video editing background, edit/cut videos to convert into simple clips, and/or add audio files into the videos.
Additional Requirements:
– MUST BE COMFORTABLE working side-by-side with the team, on an ongoing basis. In the sense of communicating with the client and having a collaborative environment.
– The client uses Google Meet for video
– As needed, they also do 3-hour team meetings on video chat.
Work Details:
-Schedule: Their business hours are M-F 8 am-5 pm MST. The VA will work 6 hours/day, 9 am to 4 pm with a 1-hour break.
-Hours: 31 hours/week, eventually 40hrs.
