We’re looking to hire 1 VA through this job that the Virtual Latinos Agency is publishing on behalf of a new client.

Client & Short Job Description:

Remote Digital Marketing Agency that provides solutions for growing businesses with a focus on personal, full-service marketing. 2 Amazing brothers transformed the existing marketing company built by their father 20 years ago with a focus on digital marketing. There is no central location to the company as everyone including the owners are working remotely from different locations. This family-owned and operated company consists of builders and storytellers that believe in helping others. The customer-focused team helps hundreds of business owners around the country tell their stories to help businesses stay ahead of the curve. The company provides services such as review management, search engine optimization, social media marketing, and web development. The company recently purchased another marketing agency to grow its client spectrum even broader where now they are serving over 130 existing clients. The company has a team in the U.S. and as well as outside of the U.S, including India and Mexico. The new team member will be working under the Marketing Director to help with many different areas of digital marketing.

The VA will be mainly creating content for email marketing and social media marketing. Also, the VA will be in charge of managing the Social Media accounts of the clients to post the content created either by the VA or by the outsourced team. The VA will be setting up and publishing email campaigns or social media campaigns. The VA will be required to do some basic graphic design, nothing too professional as in the majority of the cases they outsource design from a company that specializes in Graphic Design. The VA will also be helping with very basic website maintenance as this is something the client will be able to train the VA on.

– The rest of the components are outsourced from different companies that specialize in design, content, and SEO.

Tasks required for the job

1. Social Media Management (Basic to Mid Level)
– Create a social media calendar to post X times a week
– Create monthly reports for social media activity and engagement, and provide insights and recommendations on how to improve things
– Help with managing Linkedin
– Help with social media content organization, scheduling & management
– Manage Facebook, Instagram, GoogleMy Business, and Craigslist client accounts
– Monitor organic posting and curate 3rd party content
– Publish posts on different social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Linkedin, etc.)
– Review social media metrics, like Facebook Insights
– Use Sendable to schedule social media posts
– The VA will need to contact Facebook support if needed.

2. Content Creation (Basic – Mid Level)
– Create basic content for social media posts.
– Create short blog posts (under 500 words) – Does not include professional copywriting
– Create basic content for web pages or landing pages
– Help with the creation of FAQs and help desk content
– Participate in discussions with the client to refine their content strategy
– Research content, topics, and information to create relevant content
– Translate documents from English to Spanish or vice-versa
– Use hashtags, images, and mentions effectively in Social Media

3. Email Marketing & Automation (Basic – Mid Level)
– Design simple email templates for newsletters
– Share content by email that includes customer success stories, industry trends/news, product updates, etc.
– Create an email marketing calendar for monthly campaigns
– Manage MailChimp lists and campaigns or any other email marketing platform
– Basic setup of the email marketing automation funnel
– Be up-to-date with email marketing strategies, best formats/layout/language to use in today’s modern email marketing

– Build nurturing campaigns in Mailchimp and Hubspot
– Do internal email marketing, to promote the agency’s marketing services
– Send email newsletters to the client database

4. Basic Graphic Design (Basic Level)
– Create graphic designs in to post on social media accounts
– Create brochures and single flyers with graphics to use for social media posts
– Help to create the company’s logo, branding, and colors
– Does NOT include using professional graphic design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
*In your proposal, please make sure to include a shareable link to a Google Drive folder, where you include some of your graphic creations.

5. Digital Files Management
– Convert files into digital format in Excel sheets
– Help to digitize paperwork by using Google Sheets and Dropbox to share files
– Organize digital files and help to manage documents online
– Upload/organize files into web-based systems (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc)

6. Basic Website Maintenance
– Login to the website’s backend in order to update it
– Add reviews, properties. Products or other content to the website
– Basic update text, images to the website
– May include updating content on WordPress.
– May require the client to provide some training, or training resources for VA to self-learn

Excellent verbal English and Spanish skills. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively. The VA should have total fluency and not have to think of what to say, words should come out very naturally but no need to have a native accent in addition to advanced writing skills and vocabulary.; Comfortable with making calls and know how to properly communicate with clients.; Great customer service skills. Must be super friendly and personable on the phone.; Super empathetic, energetic, and understanding the client’s need.; Ideally looking for someone super friendly, cool, and interesting.

E) Technology & Software
Knowledge or willingness to invest time in training themselves on the different platforms of the business.; Must have experience with documents management on Google Drive/ Dropbox.; Knowledge of using WordPress, including basic copywriting.

F) Industry Specific – Marketing Agencies
Someone with previous experience in working with Marketing Agencies or related; Should be interested in being part of today’s online media and marketing world.; Experience in social media or as a community manager/FB group moderator, etc.; Online marketing experience (email marketing, ads, etc).

Work Details:
